really long time since I've updated my blog...nthing interesting to post as my life now only revolves ard work work and work...heez... how i miss school life...where I have all the leisure time in the world to plan and do the things that I want...
Work, like a double edged sword has its pros and cons... the only consolation is that this complements well with my income and allowance and this my only motivation to work!! Yeah...

I'm getting used to the changes and from a school girl to a young adult contributing to the society and planning for my future...oh... and also boosting the GDP and consumer price indexes with all my shopping sprees during lunch... haha...

had plans pursue my CFA in the next incoming intake in Jan 08 but guess got to put with-hold my plans as yet...

Oh yah, my stay with dbs will be a shortlived one as I've got and accepted another offer...
Not revealing it yet....

oh well...finally decided to provide some updates...

Met up with TG3 last thursday for a get together dinner...haha... as usual we had a heart to heart talk, bitch about the little bits of our life and catch up with our recent doings... So glad that PS is back to her cheerful gal after the revers al ofobstacles.

I always enjoyed the time we spent together... had a wonderful time snapping and posing for different angles to capture the best shot and view... will upload the photos soon...!

It's been quite a while since I met up with my JC click... my wonderful gal pals... well... proud to say that we've all grown prettier... heez... and each of us are pursuing our own interest and achieving the different goals and objectives that we want in life...

Both XY and me had just set foot onto the real world outside... She, aspiring to become a successful auditor and me a successful investment analyst...Hmm... let's work hard together! As for the QJ and SH, another year of undergraduate studies to complete and after that we will all be awarded to qualify for full time working adults... haha...

Hmm... Time really flies... it jus seems that I've had just celebrated my 21st bdae at Aloha Loyang.... Haiz... Got to admit that I'm growing older... Argh... But... I'll always be young at heart ya!

Friday... 20 July 2007... My 22nd birthday... didn't had the mood to work so was counting down to 6pm, hoping that it would come real soon so as to spend the rest of the day with my special boy...

Deare simply caught me by surprise again... I didn't have the slightest idea of where was he heading to... He drove there and at that point of time, i felt like i was jus belonging to a marine species known as the 'sotong'... haha.... blur and lost but filled with lots of anticipation...

A very good place for chilling out... I simply love the ambience and layout... the service was great too, except that I felt that the food was slightly pricey...

The main courses... Yummy... Deare ordered my favourite smoked salmon... and the taste of it just whets up my appetite...

My birthday cake... the cakes here are simply awesome... the warm fudge over the fluffy sponge simply melts in our mouth... I LOVE this triple choc cake...

Me, always having a sweet tooth never have enough of it so i got dear to order another dessert... haha... Oops, and here is the half taken blueberry chessecake that I'm left with... Heez...

I love the suprises that you've prepared for me... the dinner, the wonderful handmade card and my lovely new Sony Ericsson W660i... You're always there sharing with me the romantic moments and giving me the best of what you can... Thanks, dear... My days will never be complete without you... Hugz...

My first day at work at HSBC...

Heez... so proud of myself... I actually reached the office half an hour earlier before the start... Haha... tat's bcoz I always believe first impression counts... Anw, I am having like 12 days of in house training with another 5 fresh graduates... seriously I feel the stress here coz 4 are from either NTU or NUS and another a diploma holder with relevant experience... can't help it but I can feel the inferior complexity emerging within me... Help... I need to regain my CONFIDENCE... !!!

Plus I was given a thick stack of lecture notes to study and familiarise myself with the relevent and necessary procedures... Hmm... and there goes my weekend... got to study and prepare for a test on Monday... And know wat... they are not MCQs, but 5 essay questions...

Well... because this is a foreign bank... the pool of customers that we will be handling will be entirely different from those of local banks... it involves a broader scope and variety of banking products and procedures... And there will be a test once every month throughout the term of employment... Hopefully... I will be able to make it through this and take it as a stepping stone to embark on the next step of my career...

Shit... only now that I realised that my name is such a common one... there would be like 3 phone bankers named adeline (including me)... naturally, I would have to take on another name... haiz... unfortunately all my preferred choices... ade, hazel, faith were all not available... unlucky right...? So I had no alternatives but to settle with Dawn (suggested by my trainer coz of the one syllable and ease of remembering)...Haha... And I am so not freaking used to reacting to this name... Guess the only consolation here is that I can seperate myself from work and leisure... put on that 'dawn' mask to show my professionalism while handling customers and taking it off to be my real self while at leisure...Sigh...I don't like this... Dread it man...

Ooooh... simply had a great time in Bangkok...and here I am already missing the days spent there together with deare...tis is our second trip overseas but first trip venturing out of Singapore toether on a airplane... heez... I'm looking forward for more trips ya! haha...

Bangkok was a real shopping paradise... Retail therapy there was super duper fantastic... bought so much stuffs that we ended up investing in another luggage to contain and transport it all back home...haha...i also had so much fun walking around and bargaining jus to get the best deals... hmm... and i felt bad coz deare helped me with all the shopping bags till there were blisters on his palms... *sob sob*

Hmm... we headed straight after breakfast to Chatuchak in order to beat the crowd and traffic conjestions... However, I guess that we were to early that only a minority of shops were open for business...

At Chinatown...

Though this place provided a different pinch of the unique chinese blend compared to the one in Singapore, I didn't like this place in particular... the hygenic conditions were down to zero... and motorcyclists acted as if there were no traffic rules to observed... weaving through the streets and human paths with no sense of safety in mind... A damm bad experience...

Our dinner, deare treated me to shark fins... pretty worth the money...

drumrolls...ta da...

whAhAhA!!! finally and after a long wait, i've decided to create a blog of my own to diary the tweeny weeny bits of my life... with most of the happy moments shared with my loved ones and deare... hmm... to have a space out here where i can pen my thoughts, feelings to pour out my emotional inner self and following that to do some self reflection...

Oh yah... got to thank my sis aud for helping me... guess i've been a computer wugui since JC...haha...really had a difficult time trying to create and put all these stuff in place...

Counting down...i am left with 4 days before i am off to bangkok with deare..wooHOO...rather excited... can't wait to eat, shop and shop till drop... haha... anw, deare and i did some researching work alreadi, hopefully we will be able to explore those places...pray hard that the political situation there would be fine too...
